Beauties, HELP ME!
Over the past 3 years, I've change my hair (drastically) a number of times. I was Loc'd for 4 years, then combed those out and became a loose natural. Now I'm in that funky stage when your tapered cut begins growing out! I have a few options:
- Keep my tapered cut. Meaning I will keep the sides and back cut lower like pic 3.
- Let me hair grow out and rock stellar twist-outs like pic 2.
- Or Loc my hair up again!
Loc's were so easy to maintain. 10 times easier than being loose natural and 20x easier than the tapered cut. So naturally I would like to return to locs. Problem is I don't want to deal with the ugly stage again. About two months I started my own set of locs again...and they looked ok for a few days. That's when I was reminded of that dreadful (no pun intended lol) stage. I just can't do it. lol
If I loc' again, I'll probably have shoulder length loc extensions installed. Don't worry, they won't look fake. Being loose natural was fun! It had been a long time since I put a comb to my head so I enjoyed my scalp being free, as well as the volume of my hair. Two strand twist outs were my favorite. Right now, I do love my tapered cut, I really do. My husband wants me to rock it a bit longer and have my sides cut down again. I'm open to it, but I need to retain my length just in case I decide to grow my hair out or Loc again! See my dilemma? lol
This is clearly an impromptu post. I just really want to know what you guys think. What the heck should I do with my hair? At the moment, I'm leaning towards Loc's.
Hit me in the comments!
