Lip Stick Files: Milani Color Statement MOISTURE MATTE Lipstick Review + Swatches

We've all anticipated the release of Milani's Color Statement Matte Lipsticks. The colors come in assortment of pinks, nudes, reds and one stellar purple. Lets get right into this review:

As you can see in the photo above, these babies are easy on the eyes. So gorgeous in its sexy packaging. Now that I've worn a number of them, and one for a long period of time I have a good feel for them. These lipsticks go on sheer but they are build-able. Keep layering it until you've reached you desired level of color intensity. Speaking of, let's take a look at some swatches...

Forgive my over air brushing of the skin today. It was necessary! LOL we all have our days and I didn't want my horribly dry skin to take away from the lipsticks.

Now, these are MOISTURE matte lipsticks; emphasis on the moisture. They are matte, so they are still drying. Just not as drying as regular matte lipsticks so because of that I will go ahead and say they are slightly moisturizing. They glide on super smooth, but you really have to blend the lipstick in with your finger or by blotting because it can build up on this lips. Leaving you with clumps of powdery lipstick chucks. Outside of that, I absolutely love these. In my opinion they last a good 4 to 6 hours, the colors are gorgeous, packaging= sexy and the price is right at $5.99. Like what you see?
