Hello Beauties!
Recently, Black Opal dropped a new line foundations on us, their NEW Pore Perfecting Foundations. I was very excited to test it out/review it for a few reasons. 1. I absolutely hated Black Opal's True Color Foundation. It highlighted every crevice in my skin only to showcase how dry it was. On my skin, it had a powdery finish. If you have oily skin, that may be foundation that will work for you. 2. I love Black Opal's Creme Stick Foundation and the full coverage it provides. However, I find it to be a little heavy at times.
BO's new Pore Perfecting Foundation (my shade is Nutmeg btw) gave me the best of both worlds. The coverage without feeling heavy or cake-y. I find it to be a little oily, leaving me with a nice glow as it settles, but I like that. I have dry patches all over my face and it does a great job of correcting, softening, and covering those problem areas areas. I also did notice a few pores disappear.

Pros: Light weight, medium to full coverage, Build-able, ideal for dry skin, comes with cosmetic pump for easy use making it hard to use "too much".
Cons: Oily (for those who prefer less oily foundations), can be streaky when applying. Make sure you buff it out with a dense foundation brush or beauty blender.
Over all its a great foundation. I hate when people say, "its great for being a drugstore foundation." I personally don't care if its from the drug store or department store. Its either a good product or not. On this one I'll go ahead and give it a thumbs up. Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think.
Until next time,
<3 Bee
